IMV completed the purchase
of Genes Diffusion Swine AI Products division

Following the letter of intent signed on October 26, 2007, the acquisition by IMV Technologies of the Genes Diffusion’s swine equipment business was completed on January 31, 2008.

All contractual agreements are entirely transferred to IMV.

IMV Technologies service technicians will provide full support for all machines made or sold by IMV or Genes Diffusion. The genetic centers remain the sole property of Genes Diffusion and are not part of the purchase.

By this latest acquisition and that of CRYO-VET and CIE Plast last year, IMV Group continues to implement its vision to invest in its core Artificial Insemination portfolio business for the benefit of its customers. The IMV Technologies team is committed to further investments in creating innovating solutions to improve reproductive technologies which will deliver added values to its customers.

IMV Technologies realized turnover of €38.4 million for the fiscal year ended June 30th, 2007. IMV Technologies completed the acquisitions of the companies CRYO-VET, PIG’INS and BIO-VET on 15 May 2007, which together realized turnover of €4.4 million. During 2007, IMV Technologies will have agreed 3 acquisitions representing an additional combined annual turnover of €10 million.

OFI Private Equity Capital is the majority shareholder of IMV Technologies with 73% of the share capital, and actively supports IMV Technologies and its management team in development opportunities in France and around the world.

Animal Health:
2 new acquisitions planned by IMV Technologies

IMV Technologies, the world leader in the design, production and distribution of animal insemination products, announces the signing on 26 October 2007 of an exclusive agreement to acquire the swine equipment business of Gènes Diffusion.

Gènes Diffusion is a breeding cooperative and the specialist in the genetics and reproduction of cows, pigs, horses and rabbits. The swine equipment division which is being acquired generated a turnover of approximately €5.0 million. The acquisition is expected to be finalized in the first quarter of 2008. Swine semen production centers remain the property of Gènes Diffusion.

In addition, IMV Technologies announces the signing on 13 November 2007 of an exclusive agreement to acquire the insemination glove activities of CIE PLAST, based in Italy. This acquisition will represent an additional €1 million in turnover.
